My primary focus for this site is in two areas - web development, specifically mapping, and analysis, specifically statistics. Both maps and statistics allow people to shape large amounts of data into cohesive narratives. With careful work, these narratives can become powerful fact-based tools for everything from advocacy to assessment. Of course, deviating from that focus is requisite in the name of curiosity.
